About the role

The Hospital of Jura in Delémont is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join its emergency and rescue service. The role involves providing acute care both within the hospital and across the canton, collaborating closely with other emergency physicians and specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality emergency care to patients in the hospital and pre‑hospital settings.
• Work with the multidisciplinary emergency team on a 24/7 technical platform.
• Participate in institutional projects aimed at developing emergency medicine services.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of emergency care pathways throughout the canton.

Required profile

• Swiss Federal Medical Diploma or a foreign diploma recognized by MEBEKO (or pending recognition).
• Additional certification in hospital emergency medicine (SSMUS or equivalent).
• At least one year of experience in an anesthesiology department (preferred).
• Familiarity with the Swiss health‑care system is an advantage.
• Proficiency in French at B2/C1 level.
