Medical Sales Representative – Critical Care & Respiratory

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Sales Representative to drive consultative sales of critical‑care and respiratory medical devices across the North‑East of England. This field‑based position will involve promoting a portfolio of technical consumables and capital equipment to hospitals and specialist units.

Key responsibilities

• Own and achieve the annual territory sales growth plan.
• Balance 50% new business development with 50% account development.
• Map hospital mechanics, target high‑margin opportunities and manage tender processes.
• Conduct dual‑customer visits, organise workshops, seminars and product exhibitions.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Application Specialists and Field Service Engineers to provide clinical and technical support.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling medical devices, consumables or equipment in Critical Care, ICU, Neonatal or Respiratory settings.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and grow existing relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on high‑margin business.
• Willingness to travel extensively across a large geographic territory.

What we offer

• Basic salary £55,000 – £60,000 per year.
• Commission up to £30,000 paid annually.
