Medical Sales Representative – Critical Care & Respiratory Medicine

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Sales Representative to drive consultative sales of technical consumables and capital equipment across the North‑East of England. You will work in a field‑based capacity, covering a large territory that includes hospitals in Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual territory sales growth plan and execute strategies to win high‑margin business.
• Balance 50% new‑business development with 50% account development.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key opinion leaders, clinicians and purchasing teams.
• Lead dual‑customer visits, manage tender processes and close sales.
• Organise workshops, seminars, exhibitions and targeted mailings to generate opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling medical devices, consumables or equipment in Critical Care, ICU, Neonatal or Respiratory settings.
• Strong understanding of hospital purchasing cycles and tendering.
• Ability to manage a large geographic territory and travel frequently.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

What we offer

• Basic salary £55,000‑£60,000 per year.
• Commission up to £30,000 paid annually.
