Membership Manager

About the role

The Membership Manager will drive growth for a leading consulting‑sector membership body. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for attracting new corporate members and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. The role blends business development, relationship management and event participation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pitch and recruit new corporate members to expand the membership base.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing member firms, fostering higher engagement.
• Communicate regularly with members to promote services and events.
• Represent the organisation at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Keep the membership CRM up to date and generate accurate reports.

Required profile

• Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of acquiring and retaining business.
• Experience working for a professional institute or similar membership organisation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships.
