Mental Health Practitioner – Community Mental Health Team

About the role
The Mental Health Practitioner will join the East Dunbartonshire Community Mental Health Team, delivering ADHD assessments and low‑level psychological therapies. Working from Kirkintilloch Health and Care Centre, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while also managing a small caseload autonomously.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct ADHD assessments and monitor medication in partnership with a psychiatrist.
- Provide low‑level psychological therapies to individuals and groups.
- Work both independently and as part of the multidisciplinary team.
- Support junior staff and student nurses.
- Travel to various clinics across East Dunbartonshire as required.
Required profile
- Registered 1st level Mental Health Nurse (NMC registration).
- Minimum three years post‑graduate experience in mental health.
- Full, valid driving licence.
