Mercedes-Benz Specialist Technician – Central London

About the role

The RAC is seeking experienced Mercedes‑Benz Specialist Technicians to join its Roadside Patrol team in Central London. You will be the first point of contact for members experiencing vehicle breakdowns, providing expert technical support on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown calls and travel directly to the member’s location.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults on Mercedes‑Benz vehicles.
• Use RAC‑provided diagnostic tools and equipment to resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings to the technical support team.
• Uphold RAC’s high standards of customer service and safety.

Required profile

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in mechanical, electrical and diagnostic work on vehicles.
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
