Merchandiser – Stock & Category Management

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Merchandiser to lead stock and category management for a high‑growth retail business. You will work hybrid, combining office collaboration with field activities to drive availability and profitability across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage company and category stock budgets using the WSSI system.
• Lead a small team to implement Ways of Working that improve product availability.
• Oversee relationships with category suppliers and third‑party providers.
• Build internal and external collaborations to optimise delivery compliance and OTIF performance.
• Plan and manage stock requirements across all sales channels.
• Forecast and support buying activity with accurate stock projections.
• Identify, propose and implement strategic improvements to processes and systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in stock and category budgeting.
• Team leadership experience in a retail or supply‑chain environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess operations quickly.
• Track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
