Minor Works Manager

About the role

GRAHAM is seeking an experienced Minor Works Manager to lead the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Civils minor works across the Yorkshire Water estate. You will manage end‑to‑end delivery of small to medium‑scale projects in a regulated water‑utility environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Civils minor works projects across Yorkshire Water sites.
• Ensure all works comply with health & safety legislation, CDM regulations and Yorkshire Water standards.
• Plan, programme and coordinate multiple concurrent projects in operational water and wastewater environments.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve high‑quality delivery.
• Act as primary contact for client stakeholders, maintaining clear communication.
• Review scope, specifications and technical requirements for feasibility and buildability.
• Monitor performance against programme, cost and quality targets.
• Support commercial management including cost control, variations, forecasting and reporting.
• Manage site access, permits, isolations and operational constraints for live water infrastructure.
• Identify and mitigate operational, environmental and supply‑chain risks.
• Drive value‑engineering and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering minor works within utilities, facilities management or infrastructure environments.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a high‑risk, fast‑paced setting.
• Technical awareness of Mechanical, Electrical and Civils disciplines.
• Experience working to regulatory compliance and safety‑critical standards.
