Mobile Electrician & Tester – Brighton (£37.5k‑£42.5k)

About the role

PPM is seeking qualified Mobile Electricians and Testers to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across retail, industrial and commercial sites in Brighton and surrounding areas. You will work on a door‑to‑door basis, ensuring compliance with NICEIC standards and keeping properties safe.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out compliance visits, remedial works and lighting maintenance.
• Test emergency lighting, fire alarms and perform PAT testing.
• Service fire extinguishers and conduct fixed‑wire testing (EICR).
• Support occasional small project work as required.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Electrician (BS 7671 2365 with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) holding a Gold Card.
• For tester role: 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).
• Ability to work at height using steps or ladders.
• IT literate – comfortable using a smartphone or tablet on site.
