Mobile Game Developer (Java) – Remote Contract

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Game Developer proficient in Java and the libGDX framework to create simple 2D game features on a remote contract basis. You will work closely with AI specialists to design interactive gameplay and help gather high‑quality training data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise 2D game components using Java and libGDX.
• Collaborate with AI specialists to design engaging game interactions and collect training data.
• Implement core mechanics such as sprite management, game loops, and input handling.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and help improve internal coding standards.
• Document technical processes and development workflows for cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of Java programming and object‑oriented principles.
• Hands‑on experience with libGDX from coursework, personal projects, or prototypes.
• Understanding of fundamental game development concepts (game loops, sprites, input management).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fully remote team environment.
• Demonstrated interest and initiative in building games or interactive applications.
