Mobile HGV Automotive Technician / Mechanic – Oldbury

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a motivated HGV Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join its Flex‑E‑Rent mobile team covering Oldbury, Birmingham and surrounding areas. You will work on a diverse fleet of heavy vehicles, providing on‑site support while also having the flexibility to operate from the workshop when required.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of heavy‑goods vehicles.
• Work on top brands such as Mercedes, Iveco and Ford, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT examinations.
• Provide mobile service across the designated area, with occasional workshop duties.
• Collaborate with a skilled, friendly team to deliver reliable vehicle performance.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Proven experience working with HGVs.
• Full Class 2 UK/Ireland/EU manual driving licence.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented approach and a genuine passion for vehicle maintenance.

Required skills

• Heavy vehicle diagnostics and repair.
• Maintenance of Mercedes, Iveco and Ford commercial vehicles.
• Preparation of vehicles for MOT testing.
