Mortgage Advisor – Full‑time Permanent Role in Corsham

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Mortgage Advisor to join our client’s team in Corsham on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will guide clients through the mortgage process, ensuring they receive the best possible deal while complying with FCA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound leads, conduct thorough fact‑find calls and explain mortgage options clearly.
• Research the market to match clients with suitable mortgage products.
• Provide a recommendation call within 2‑4 hours of the initial contact.
• Collect, verify and process client documentation in line with AML, FCA and company procedures.
• Prepare and send suitability letters within 24 hours of application submission.
• Drive the client through to application and submit mortgage applications promptly.
• Promote in‑house and third‑party services such as solicitors, wills, trusts and financial advice.
• Maintain compliance by sending required disclosures and staying updated on policy changes.

Required profile

• Full CeMap Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
• Commitment to achieve CAS certification within 12 months of start.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational ability, meeting deadlines with high accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of IT systems relevant to mortgage advisory.
