Mortgage and Protection Advisor (Hybrid, Ilford)

About the role

Join Just Mortgages as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor working on a hybrid basis in Ilford. This self‑employed position offers flexibility while allowing you to collaborate with a supportive business owner and a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up leads from potential customers and convert them into sales.
• Proactively source new leads through various channels.
• Recommend suitable mortgage and protection products based on customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Assess customer affordability and ensure responsible lending.
• Meet individual sales targets and contribute to overall team performance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date market knowledge and forecast pipeline accurately.
• Continuously improve conversion rates and customer experience.

Required profile

• Hold a CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in the mortgage brokerage market with a strong track record of achieving targets.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Excellent understanding of mortgage products, compliance regulations and financial services sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
