Mortgage Broker – Client Advisory & Sales

About the role

Our client, a leading regional mortgage brokerage, is seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join their expanding team in Colchester. You will work with pre‑qualified leads, advising clients on mortgage and protection products and driving sales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of pre‑qualified client leads.
• Provide tailored mortgage advice and recommend suitable mortgage and protection solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the application process.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to team growth.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mortgage advice, either within a tied environment, estate agency, or new‑build mortgage setting.
• Fully qualified with CeMAP or an equivalent mortgage advisory certification.
• Self‑motivated, hardworking and able to develop client relationships independently.
• Strong communication and sales orientation.
