Mortgage & Financial Services Administrator

About the role

Join a well‑established boutique financial planning firm in Cheltenham as a Mortgage & Financial Services Administrator. You will support advisers by managing mortgage cases from enquiry to completion, ensuring a smooth client experience while working primarily from home.

Key responsibilities

• Manage mortgage applications from submission through to completion.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors and other providers.
• Chase outstanding documentation and progress cases efficiently.
• Maintain accurate client records and compliance documentation.
• Support advisers with mortgage and financial planning administration.
• Prepare client documentation and correspondence.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mortgage administration or financial planning administration.
• Ideally CeMAP qualified or working towards qualification.
• Experience managing mortgage applications end‑to‑end.
• Strong understanding of UK mortgages and/or financial planning.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote‑working environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
