About the role

We are seeking a motivated Mortgage Paraplanner to join an established independent mortgage brokerage in Hertford. This office‑based position offers a supportive environment where you can deepen your knowledge of mortgages and the property market while delivering high‑quality service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Speak with clients and guide them through the mortgage process.
• Advise on product transfer rates and suitable mortgage options.
• Complete mortgage applications accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise closely with Mortgage Advisors to progress cases.
• Update client records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Prioritise workloads to meet deadlines consistently.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the process.

Required profile

• Keen interest in mortgages and the property market.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
