About the role

We are seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy main dealer’s workshop in Hatfield. The role offers a stable, full‑time position with competitive pay and a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule, allowing you to focus on delivering high‑quality vehicle inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Carry out basic mechanical repairs efficiently and within standard times.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and dealership quality standards.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail on all inspections and repairs.
• Meet daily productivity targets and support the wider workshop team as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified MOT Tester holding a valid DVSA/VOSA Smart Card.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability.
• Solid automotive background with a stable career history.
• Ability to work independently and uphold high workmanship standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
