Moulding Process Engineer

About the role

HellermannTyton is seeking a Moulding Process Engineer to join its Plymouth manufacturing site. You will be responsible for developing, documenting and optimising moulding process parameters to ensure consistent product quality and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document and optimise moulding process parameters.
• Lead troubleshooting of moulding machines, tooling and auxiliary equipment.
• Support the introduction, commissioning and validation of new moulds and tooling.
• Champion scientific moulding techniques and data‑driven decision making.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Continuous Improvement teams on TPM and SMED activities.
• Maintain process documentation, SOPs and validation reports.
• Provide technical training and coaching to setters and operators.
• Participate in trials, automation integration and engineering change management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in moulding process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for training and documentation.
