Multi-Modal Operator – Sea, Air & Road Freight

About the role
Join a leading UK freight forwarder as a Multi‑Modal Operator, handling sea (FCL/LCL), air and European road freight shipments. The role is hands‑on, covering booking, customs, documentation and final delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Manage import and export shipments via sea, air and road.
- Complete customs entries using the CDS system and coordinate with Destin8/CNS.
- Liaise with carriers, hauliers and port authorities.
- Prepare transport documents such as Bills of Lading, Air Waybills and CMRs.
- Provide clients with regular updates and resolve any shipment issues.
Required profile
- Freight forwarding experience, preferably multi‑modal.
- Good knowledge of UK customs procedures, Incoterms and port systems.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CDS (Customs Declaration Service).
- Familiarity with Destin8/CNS platforms.
