Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

About the role

HellermannTyton is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of its injection moulding, extrusion, automation and facility equipment. The role combines reactive breakdown response with planned preventative maintenance and requires accurate documentation in the maintenance management system.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all maintenance tasks following site safety procedures, risk assessments and legal requirements.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, delivering permanent fixes and recording actions.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and support root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to maintain asset uptime and data integrity.

Required profile

• Hold an ONC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Ability to work safely, follow dynamic risk assessments and produce clear documentation.

• Proficiency with a maintenance management system (CMMS).
