Multi-Skilled Plumber

About the role

Magna Housing is looking for an experienced, skilled multi-skilled plumber to join its team of housing experts. The role is field-based with regular travel across sites in Dorset, covering Magna's sites in the area. It is a permanent, full-time position of 39 hours per week, with a gross salary of £41,152 per year plus on-call allowances. Van, uniform and all power tools and plant are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality work from initial report to completion, in line with current legislation and customer needs.
• Work independently and interact politely and professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota, receiving an additional pay allowance.

Required profile

• Working towards a time-served trade apprenticeship or C&G/NVQ level 2 in plumbing, with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience in associated trades.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel to customer homes across Dorset.
• Legal right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship is available.
• Basic DBS check required.

Required skills

• Plumbing, with knowledge of carpentry, tiling, patch-plastering and decorating.
• IT competence, as the role uses an iPad to record and complete works.
