Multi‑Skilled Craftsperson (Electrical Bias)

About the role

You will provide flexible and efficient repair and maintenance services for electrical and mechanical plant and equipment across a variety of NHS locations, from wards and theatres to manufacturing areas and offices. The role includes on‑call duties, requiring prompt attendance to hospitals when required.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and servicing across NHS estates.
• Perform statutory inspections within your delegated area and maintain accurate records to ensure legislative compliance.
• Respond to on‑call requests and attend the hospital within the required timeframe.
• Travel to multiple sites using your own vehicle and a valid driving licence.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and other departments.

Required profile

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to be on‑call and respond promptly to emergencies.
