Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer – 4 on 4 off Shift

About the role

Refresco UK is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its Bridgwater plant. You will be responsible for keeping a wide range of production equipment operating at peak performance, ensuring continuous output on a 24/7 shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality engineering service alongside the Engineering Team Leader.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, basic control and instrumentation faults quickly.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on pallet wrappers, shrink wrappers, conveyors, check weighers, palletisers, packaging machinery, processing systems, silos, pumps and pipework.
• Complete a full range of maintenance activities across the assigned asset base.
• Participate in factory improvement projects and drive performance enhancements.

Required profile

• Experienced maintenance engineer with a multi‑skilled background (mechanical or electrical bias acceptable).
• Minimum L3 engineering qualification or equivalent time‑served experience.
• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing is desirable; other sectors considered.
• Ex‑military candidates are welcome.
