Multiskilled Maintenance Fitter – Days, £40k-£42.5k

About the role

This is a days‑only, Monday‑to‑Friday position offering flexible working hours and a clear progression path to Senior Engineer. You will split your time equally between mechanical and electrical maintenance, working on a variety of bespoke manufacturing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on bespoke manufacturing machinery.
• Maintain and repair AC three‑phase motors, overhead cranes, pickers, drives and chain systems.
• Carry out basic PLC troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Support the rollout of a standardised maintenance system across multiple sites.
• Document work and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Multiskilled fitter with a minimum Level 2 electrical qualification.
• Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Desire to develop into a Senior Engineer role.
• Availability for a days‑only schedule (8:00 am – 4:00 pm).
