Multi‑Skilled Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Technician to join a recognised housing association in the South West. The successful candidate will primarily carry out high‑quality joinery work while also handling a range of multi‑trade repairs, ensuring first‑time fixes for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform joinery tasks to a high standard as the main trade.
• Carry out additional repairs across various trades to achieve first‑time resolutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain and service own vehicle, tools and stock to required standards.
• Participate in an on‑call, out‑of‑hours rota, with a weekly on‑call allowance of £525.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong joinery skills combined with the ability to perform multi‑trade repairs.
• Experience in a customer‑focused, target‑driven environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload and solve problems.
• Good health and safety awareness.
• Access to personal power tools.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £18.72.
