Music Teacher – Secondary School (Full‑Time/Temporary)

About the role
The school in Rochdale is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join its secondary department from September 2026. You will work with students in Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging music lessons and supporting extracurricular activities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality music lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Encourage student participation in performances, clubs and other music‑related activities.
- Monitor progress, assess achievement and provide targeted support.
- Contribute positively to the wider school community and collaborate with senior leadership.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching music in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and ability to motivate learners of all abilities.
- Passion for music education and student achievement.
