About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Music Teacher to join a successful secondary school in St Helens from September 2026. This full‑time, temporary position will cover at least one term, with the possibility of extension beyond Christmas for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging practical and theoretical music lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Inspire creativity, confidence and a love of music among students.
- Maintain excellent classroom and behaviour management.
- Collaborate with staff within a supportive, inclusive school culture.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching music in a UK secondary school.
- Confidence teaching across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to delivering inspiring lessons.

What we offer
- Start date in September 2026, full‑time for a minimum of one term.
- Daily pay ranging from £168.80 to £232.56, dependent on experience and teacher pay scale.
