NDT Level 2/3 Instructor & Examiner

About the role

Testia Ltd is seeking an experienced NDT Level 2 or 3 Instructor/Examiner to deliver high‑quality training at our BINDT‑approved school in Filton, Bristol. You will also perform NDT inspections on‑site and at customer locations.

Key responsibilities

• Train internal and external candidates in various NDT methods.
• Invigilate, examine and mark examinations, ensuring standards are met.
• Support training administration, including scoping, pricing, contract review and paperwork processing.
• Manage training equipment and consumables, coordinating with procurement.
• Maintain Level 2/3 (EN4179) certification or upgrade as required.
• Ensure compliance with BINDT requirements and support audits.
• Develop coursework and examination materials.
• Engage students, build relationships with training partners, and assist sales initiatives.
• Travel nationally and internationally for short periods as needed.

Required profile

• EN4179 Level 2 qualification (Level 3 desirable) in UT, Phased Array, Eddy Current, Penetrant, Magnetic Particle or Digital Radiographic testing.
• Visual Acuity performance certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Evidence of instructional technique training or teaching certificate.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Resilient, flexible and able to meet competing commercial demands.
• Full UK driving licence.
