Network Engineer – High‑Performance Trading Environment

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain large‑scale Cisco network infrastructure.
• Implement and optimise routing, switching and multicast solutions.
• Develop automation scripts using Python to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor network health with tools such as Splunk and Grafana.
• Provide Linux‑based support for network services and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Collaborate with trading and technology teams to ensure ultra‑low latency performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex Cisco networks at scale.
• Background in trading, real‑time, or high‑frequency technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching and multicast protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Hands‑on experience with Python scripting and network automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Splunk and Grafana.
• Solid Linux administration skills.
• Experience with wireless or RF technologies is a plus.
