Newly Qualified ACA – Internal Controls Role in London

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing FTSE‑100 company to recruit a newly qualified ACA to join their internal controls team in London. The role is based on‑site for 2‑3 days a week and offers the chance to shape robust, commercial‑focused control environments across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve internal control frameworks and assurance processes.
• Collaborate with business units to identify control gaps and implement remediation plans.
• Support SOX compliance and risk‑based testing activities.
• Provide insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders on control effectiveness.
• Assist in the preparation of control documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• ACA qualification, newly qualified (within the last 12‑24 months).
• Experience working in a Big 4 environment, preferably in controls, risk, audit or assurance.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a dynamic, commercial setting.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
