Newly Qualified Accountant - Corporate Finance

About the role

Old Mill is seeking an ACA‑qualified accountant to join its Corporate Finance team. This is a unique chance for a newly qualified professional to move beyond traditional accounting work and gain hands‑on experience in deals, acquisitions, valuations and strategic advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Support business sales and acquisition transactions.
• Prepare and deliver company valuations.
• Conduct financial analysis and build financial models.
• Participate in due‑diligence projects.
• Provide strategic and commercial advisory to clients.
• Assist clients with succession planning decisions.

Required profile

• ACA qualification with recent completion.
• Experience working with clients in an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical foundation and commercial curiosity.
• Motivation to learn and develop in corporate finance.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate confidently with clients.
• Fit with a collaborative, ambitious and values‑driven team.
