About the role

Join a friendly multidisciplinary team at Higford School, delivering specialist speech and language therapy (SaLT) within an education setting. This permanent role offers a supportive environment for newly qualified therapists to develop their clinical expertise while contributing to pupil independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assessment and intervention for pupils with speech, language and communication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create personalised learning plans.
• Participate in research projects, special interest groups and regular training sessions.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions.

Required profile

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) with UK registration.
• Full, valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Commitment to professional development and CPD.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary up to £30,000 DOE.
• £2,000 training allowance after probation for role‑specific CPD.
• Permanent 52‑week contract (37.5 hours/week, Monday‑Friday).
