Night Shift Concierge – Bank

About the role

The Hawthorns is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Night Shift Concierge to join its award‑winning team at the Clevedon retirement village. Working the 8 pm – 8 am bank shift, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, ensuring a warm, professional welcome and smooth communication throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct all visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Operate the switchboard, handling external and internal calls, taking messages and passing them on promptly.
• Monitor the bistro area for refreshments, music, and cleanliness.
• Respond efficiently to resident requests and queries.
• Maintain calm and considerate behaviour in emergency situations.

Required profile

• Demonstrates the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable.
• Experience in telephone handling or customer‑service roles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organised.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the business).
