Night Shift Manufacturing Technician – Witney

About the role

We are seeking dedicated Manufacturing Technicians to join our team in Witney on the night shift. You will contribute to the production of strip and sensor products used in self‑diagnosis and medical diagnostics, working in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor highly automated manufacturing equipment, including set‑up, line clearances and adherence to SOPs.
• Accurately input machine data into HMI systems and manage inventory and batch records using MacPac and POMS/EBR software.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness according to 6S principles and ensure compliance with SOPs, COSHH and EHS risk assessments.
• Troubleshoot minor online stoppages, escalating complex issues to engineering while reporting breakdowns promptly.
• Follow safety and training procedures, report near‑misses and accidents, and locate relevant safety documentation.

• Keen eye for detail and commitment to strict guidelines and SOPs.
• Methodical work style with high accuracy.
• Comfortable working with machinery and basic IT systems for data entry.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment is advantageous but not essential.
