Night Shift Retail Assistant – Salisbury Extra

About the role

Join Tesco as a Night Shift Retail Assistant at the Salisbury Extra store. You will work overnight shifts, providing friendly service to customers and keeping the store running smoothly between 22:00 and 07:00.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers with passion and pride, delivering natural, high‑quality service.
• Assist across the store, including service areas, picking, and replenishment zones.
• Handle deliveries, stock products safely, and maintain product quality.
• Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Support store performance by helping drive sales, reduce waste, and meet profit targets.

Required profile

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Enthusiastic about delivering great customer service.
• Willing to work flexible night hours as outlined in the availability window.
• Committed to safety, store policies, and Tesco values.

Required skills

What we offer

• Hourly rate starting at £13.28, rising to £14.55 for stores within the M25.
• Additional night premium of £2.35 per hour for work between midnight and 06:00.
• Minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week (flexible down to 12 hours).
• Three‑week notice of scheduled shifts and opportunities for career progression.
