NQ Solicitor – Housing & Regeneration Property (Preston)

About the role

We are seeking an NQ Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our nationally recognised Housing & Regeneration Property team in Preston. You will work on a diverse portfolio of social housing and development projects, supporting registered providers, local authorities and public sector organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle development and regeneration projects, including site acquisitions, disposals and joint‑venture arrangements.
• Draft and negotiate residential, mixed‑use and affordable housing agreements.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients and manage communications with stakeholders.
• Support senior lawyers on complex transactions and contribute to business development activities.
• Collaborate with construction, litigation, governance and procurement teams to deliver integrated services.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with practice rights.
• Experience in commercial property, development or housing‑related work.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage competing deadlines.
• Commercial and practical approach to legal problem‑solving.
• Attention to detail and client‑care focus.
