Nurse Trainer – Medical Law Services (Hybrid)

About the role

The Medical Law Services (MLS) team at Fletchers Solicitors is seeking a Nurse Trainer to lead learning and development initiatives for its nursing staff. Working in a hybrid model, you will travel to one of our offices in Manchester, Southport, Liverpool or Leeds and support the professional growth of nurses across the service.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate educational programmes that enhance clinical knowledge, legal awareness and process competence.
• Onboard new starters, guiding them through the 12‑week probation period and pagination systems.
• Maintain up‑to‑date training reference materials, how‑to guides and documentation.
• Utilise internal AI tools such as MeRMAIDD to support learning and analytics.
• Mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and lifelong learning.

Required profile

• Registered with the NMC and 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in an NHS or clinical setting.
• Strong presentation and classroom facilitation skills.
• Highly motivated, organised, proactive and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate remotely and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Experience using MeRMAIDD (internal AI system).
• Familiarity with Proclaim or similar software tools.
