Nursery Domestic Assistant (Part‑time)

About the role

Join Childbase Partnership as a Domestic Assistant at Brinds Well Day Nursery in Orpington. This permanent part‑time role (25 hours per week, 08:00‑13:00 Monday‑Friday) focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery.
• Clean and restock bathrooms and kitchen areas, empty bins, sweep and mop floors.
• Perform high‑level dusting and support the kitchen team with washing‑up.
• Manage laundry services and ensure supplies are replenished.
• Apply COSHH knowledge to keep the environment safe.
• Support safeguarding by ensuring the well‑being of children and adults.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a professional housekeeper or cleaner.
• Diligent and proactive with a strong focus on safety.
• Commitment to safeguarding children and adults.
• Team‑oriented and able to work collaboratively.
