Nursery Room Leader

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to lead a vibrant early years room in a well‑established nursery in Stokenchurch. This temporary‑to‑permanent position offers the chance to develop your leadership skills while delivering high‑quality care and education.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a nursery room, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
• Plan and deliver activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Monitor children’s progress and support their learning and development.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Mentor and support other team members.
• Maintain safeguarding and welfare standards at all times.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (essential).
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Positive, proactive, and caring approach.
