Occupational Therapist – Mental Health Service (Locum)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a specialist mental health inpatient service on a locum basis starting in August. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and offers the chance to work within a dedicated multidisciplinary team supporting service users with complex needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and create personalised treatment plans.
• Support service users in building independence, confidence and meaningful daily routines.
• Deliver evidence‑based occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to care planning.

Required profile

• HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience working within mental health services.
• Strong assessment and therapeutic abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
