Occupational Therapist – Paediatrics (KS1 & KS2) – Term Time

About the role

This full‑time, term‑time position supports children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 within a vibrant school environment. You will work closely with teachers and leaders to deliver tailored occupational therapy programmes that enhance pupils' learning and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, resource and deliver engaging therapy programmes for individual pupils and groups.
• Liaise professionally with teaching staff, senior leaders and external professionals.
• Build positive working relationships with families and ensure pupil safety at all times.
• Lead and deliver whole‑staff OT‑specific training aligned with staff knowledge and experience.

• Ability to work constructively within a unified team and manage challenging behaviour.
• Reflective attitude with a desire for professional development.
• Attention to detail in presentation, punctuality and maintaining a therapeutic environment.
