Occupational Therapist – School & Clinical Settings

About the role
Join a supportive multi‑disciplinary team delivering occupational therapy to children and young people in school and community settings. You will assess needs, design specialist interventions and help unlock each individual's potential.
Key responsibilities
- Assess EHCP‑related needs of children and young people in school environments.
- Develop and deliver tailored occupational therapy programmes.
- Collaborate with teachers, clinicians and families to set and monitor therapy goals.
- Provide occasional clinic‑based and remote sessions where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary case reviews.
Required profile
- Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.
- Experience working with children and young people, preferably in educational settings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary up to £50,000 per year, dependent on experience.
- Permanent contract with flexible 52‑week or summer options.
- 25% protected administration time and a trial of 10% protected rest time each day.
- £5,000 retention bonus after 12 months of service.
- £250 annual CPD allowance, dedicated CPD time and monthly learning sessions.
- Travel and relocation support up to £3,000 for eligible candidates.
