OFCI Manager – Expat Role in Helsinki

About the role

The OFCI Manager will lead the technical review and integration of client‑procured equipment on a data‑centre construction project in Helsinki. Acting as the bridge between the client, vendors and construction teams, this role ensures seamless delivery and installation of critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead weekly vendor meetings to track equipment manufacturing, inspection and delivery progress.
• Communicate project requirements, expectations and updates to vendors promptly.
• Monitor vendor performance against service level agreements and quality standards, both off‑site and on‑site.
• Resolve vendor conflicts quickly to maintain productive partnerships.
• Develop and share detailed project schedules, conduct regular reviews and adjust timelines as needed.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, installation and commissioning (Cx) with all stakeholders.
• Document all vendor communications for accountability and future reference.

Required profile

• Experience in equipment and material control, vendor or supply‑chain management within an engineering, procurement or construction environment.
• Proven ability to manage confidential or sensitive information.
• Strong teamwork orientation and effective communication skills.
