Office Manager – Environmental Consultancy

About the role
As the Office Manager you will be at the heart of Brooks Ecological, ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office while supporting people, project teams and wider operations. You will help create an organised, efficient and positive environment that enables our consultancy to deliver high‑quality environmental solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, manage supplies, equipment and facilities, and maintain effective filing systems.
- Line‑manage Administrative Assistants and provide HR support including onboarding, training coordination and record‑keeping.
- Handle finance tasks such as credit control, invoice processing, purchase orders and monitoring office budgets.
- Ensure health, safety and compliance documentation is up to date and support policy implementation.
- Provide project coordination support through the Kantata PSA system, assisting with document preparation, client communications and timeline tracking.
- Report key data to the parent company and identify opportunities to improve office processes.
Required profile
- Proven experience in office management or a similar operational role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail and a practical problem‑solving approach.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
- Professional, approachable and positive manner.
