Onsite IT Support Technician

About the role

Tekever, an unmanned technology company active in digital, defence, security and space, is looking for an onsite IT Support Technician in Bristol. The role keeps the company's IT infrastructure running smoothly by providing reliable technical support and maintaining robust, scalable systems, so that colleagues across all locations can work efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide local and/or remote user support.
• Assist in the installation of hardware and software systems.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Analyse and acquire IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and network problems.
• Create and maintain technical and procedural documentation.
• Install, configure and maintain equipment, and administer and maintain the company's and its branches' infrastructure.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot systems.

Required profile

• Technical or higher education in IT-related fields.
• Proven professional experience in similar roles.
• Knowledge of networks and IT systems.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical problems.
• Resilience, proactivity and dynamism.

Required skills

• Experience with programming, routers, switches and servers.
• Networks and IT systems knowledge.
