Associate – Financial Crime Systems

About the role

ACE Money Transfer, a UK-based fintech providing online remittance services, is looking for an Associate – Financial Crime Systems to support the delivery, testing and enhancement of its financial crime technology platforms. The role centres on system validation, data analysis and change delivery, working closely with Product, Development and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial crime systems including transaction monitoring, screening and case management platforms
• Take part in UAT, regression testing and pre-production validation for system changes and releases
• Validate business and functional requirements against system behaviour and outcomes
• Assist with testing of rules, thresholds, workflows and alerting logic
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of system inputs and outputs
• Support testing and validation of AI/ML and analytical models, including scenario and threshold changes
• Work with Product, Development and vendor teams to manage defects and delivery timelines
• Maintain testing, release and system documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in financial services technology, enterprise systems or delivery/testing roles
• Strong analytical approach, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, collaboration across technology and business functions, and clear verbal and written communication

Required skills

• Working knowledge of AML, transaction monitoring and screening systems from a technology and data perspective (strong plus)
• Hands-on experience with UAT, system testing and pre-production validation
• Data analysis with Python, SQL, Excel or similar tools
• Exposure to AI/ML or analytical models, including inputs, outputs and performance impact
• Familiarity with software feature testing practices; JIRA, Confluence or similar tools
• Exposure to FinCrime systems is a plus
