Open Innovation Intern

About the role

Join Chanel’s Open Innovation team in London as an intern and support the discovery and engagement of cutting‑edge startups. You will work closely with the Startup Programs Lead, gaining hands‑on experience in research, project coordination, and event logistics within a global luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing materials for team meetings and consolidating updates.
• Research startups and emerging technologies using platforms such as PitchBook.
• Summarise incoming startup opportunities and maintain the tracking database.
• Support scouting projects by monitoring deadlines and conducting initial screening.
• Coordinate internal program timelines, onboarding documents, and presentation decks.
• Help plan and execute innovation events, managing invite lists and logistics.

Required profile

• Strong curiosity for new technologies, trends, and the luxury sector.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep projects on schedule.
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast‑paced, high‑impact team.
