Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager keeps the show on the road, coordinating vehicles, drivers and customers using Ember’s in‑house tech system. You’ll ensure smooth daily operations, troubleshoot issues and adapt plans to keep services running.

Key responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day vehicle, driver and route management.
• Customer support across multiple channels.
• Oversee vehicle and charger maintenance.
• Assist planning of future routes and expansion.
• Provide weekend, evening and on‑call coverage for 24/7 operations.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a complex transport network.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail‑oriented and able to spot issues before they impact service.
• Passion for climate solutions or public transport and willingness to learn new tech systems.
• Comfortable working weekends, evenings and on‑call shifts.
