Operations Specialist – Insurance (Hybrid, London)

About the role

The Operations Specialist will sit at the heart of a leading global insurance organisation, supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of core operational processes across the insurance lifecycle. You will ensure accurate handling of risk, premium and claims data while collaborating with internal teams, offshore partners and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end operational processes and drive efficiency improvements.
• Monitor performance metrics such as KPIs, KRIs and SLAs, and support issue resolution.
• Collaborate with offshore teams, providing guidance, training and acting as a referral point.
• Work with third‑party suppliers and technology teams on system enhancements, testing and implementation.
• Ensure processes remain compliant within a regulated environment.
• Contribute to wider change initiatives and transformation projects.

Required profile

• Experience in insurance or a regulated financial‑services environment.
• Strong understanding of operational processes and data flows.
• Ability to analyse large datasets and identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Experience working with offshore teams or on process‑improvement projects is highly beneficial.
