Operator Assistant I – Pipeline & Process Services

About the role

Join Halliburton’s Pipeline and Process Services team as an Operator Assistant I. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with equipment safety, maintenance and support tasks in a dynamic energy‑industry environment.

Key responsibilities

• Learn basic safety and repair procedures on PSL equipment under strict supervision.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑job equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain support equipment such as pumps and discharge lines.
• Assist Service Operators with clean‑up, repair and preparation for jobs, including rig‑up and rig‑down activities.
• Complete required training (essential math, safety, red‑book, etc.) and follow internal competency processes.
• Promote safety awareness, environmental consciousness and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Successful completion of Halliburton’s internal competency learning management system for Operator Assistant I.
• Pass company competency tests and task‑list requirements.
• Basic mathematical calculation ability.
• Reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills (preferred).
